The abovementioned situation attributes special importance to training new-level experts, who match modern conditions, namely, both know the economics of the solid minerals recovery and understand the global coal markets’ environment and dynamics. The experts should also be able to perform both creative and strategic thinking, adopt foreign experience and promote latest Russian technologies to global markets.

The agreement on establishment of the inter-university educational center to train experts in management, specializing in Russian raw material industries was signed on May 29, 2017 among MGIMO, NUST MISIS and the Non-Commercial Partnership for Mining Industry Development Assistance.
